REQUIREMENTS FOR CERTIFICATE OF GOOD CONDUCT

Complete the biographical details forms in duplicate and attach the following:

 

1. A covering letter to CID Headquarters, Nairobi;
2. Fingerprints and palm prints recorded on a prescribed form at your nearest police station bearing an official stamp (Please, contact the Kenya High Commission in case of any difficulty in obtaining fingerprints);
3. A clear photocopy of the Kenyan 2nd generation identity card (if over 18 years) or a certified copy of the birth certificate (if below 18 years);
4. A certified copy of passport information (if non-Kenyan), with documentary proof of residence in Kenya for a minimum of three (3) months;
5. A fee of £10 in postal order payable to ‘Kenya High Commission’.  Cash payment is acceptable only if paid in person.

 

Note that processing of certificates takes Six (6) to Eight (8) weeks.
